Abstract
- The author discusses why Jews cannot show empathy for the Palestinians on the Israel-Palestine conflict. Rabbi Sharon Brous, leader of IKAR, Jewish community in Los Angeles, California says that Israeli have the right to defend themselves from attacks of the Palestinians, hence, people should also sympathize with the Palestinians. He states that Jews and Israeli ignores the burdens felt by Palestinians in fighting for national dignity and humiliation from Israeli Defense Force (IDF).
