Abstract
- The article reports on the impact of Hurricane Sandy on construction projects in the Tri-state area. Some of the most hard hit areas by the storm were Long Beach and New York City in New York and the New Jersey coast. Renovation work at the Long Beach High School was scaled back a few weeks and caused additional millwork for Stalco Construction. The three central energy plants of Jingoli-DCO Energy, with combined heat and power generating equipment, were flooded.
