Abstract
- The article reports on the undervalued and unemployed veterans in the U.S. It notes that unemployment rate of veterans has jumped up and down while from 2008 to 2012 while many out-of work veterans are tapping GI Bill benefits and were dependent in stipend from the Veterans Affairs Department. It states that the government has conducted a broad overhaul to the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) to support troops separating from the military and has urged the private sector to hire veterans.
