ON FIELDS OF ARGUMENT AS PROPOSITIONAL SYSTEM.

Information about several papers discussed at the 1981 Summer Conference on Argumentation held in Alta, Utah is presented, which discusses the fields of argument as proportional systems. It notes that the papers were carefully read by all argument students who attended the event. It highlights the concept of American argumentation and rhetorical theorist Charles A. Willard who affirmed that diffuse and open-ended nature of argument fields have been its most attractive feature.
