Abstract
- The article discusses management of aging survivors living with and at risk for lymphedema (LE). The leading cause of secondary LE in developed countries is cancer treatment; many cancer survivors are at risk for developing LE. Therefore, rehabilitation professionals caring for older cancer patients should be knowledgeable about LE risks assessment, identification, and management to ensure early referral and enhance quality of life throughout survivorship.
