The Self in Psychotherapy: practice, ethical and faith issues.

The article focuses on the reflection of ethical, practical and faith issues in psychotherapy, which was presented at the North American Association of Christians in Social Work (NACSW) Convention in October 2009 in Indiana. It says that the reflection began with a comment made by a client that he "was not being true to himself" and his physician diagnosed him as having Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). It also mentions that true self a core self-identity has been created and discovered.
