Abstract
- The article focuses on a feasibility study on an in-state gas pipeline in Alaska. It notes that the natural gas supply and demand in the state reflects the need for an in-state gas pipeline and a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant. Several factors related to an in-state gas pipeline are discussed which include tax, financing structure and location cost. It examines various in-state gas pipeline options in which the 1,000 millions of cubic feet per day (MMcfd) emerged as the most valuable option.
