Abstract
- The article presents a survey of 309 general practitioners (GPs) in Great Britain in 2012. The survey shows that practices have been urged to lay off salaried staff and GPs, lessen services and cut use of locums as profits declined. The survey reveals that practices already face losses as the British government prepares to enforce sweeping contract alterations that will cut six-figure sums from the income of some practices.
