Abstract
- The article reports on the first laser survey of Stonehenge in Wiltshire, England that revealed Bronze Age graffiti on the stones. High-resolution scannings recorded carvings of axeheads in addition to the first documented in the 1950s. Lithics expert Doctor Hugo Anderson-Whymark described the laser examination they conducted. The archaeological finds were described as interesting by Robert Waterhouse. Full excavation of the trench over the findspot revealed the position of the pottery vessel.
