Abstract
- The article focuses on the vestments used by priests during Mass celebrations. It notes the three fundamental vestments of the priests including alb, stole, and chasuble. Alb is considered as the most basic liturgical garment; the stole is narrow, long and scarf-like worn over the shoulders; and chasuble is the ornate, flowing and usually embroidered outermost clothing worn over the stole and alb.
