Abstract
- The article features the 30th anniversary celebration of the pipe organ installation by Boston, Massachusetts maker Thomas Appleton at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The organ was built in 1830 which was originally installed in Hartford, Connecticut's South Church and was moved later to Plains, Pennsylvania's Sacred Heart Church in 1883. To commemorate the anniversary, the Manhattan School of Music President Robert Sirota wrote a piece for the organ entitled "holy ghosts."
