Abstract
- The article provides a description of the papers of the Nims family of New Hampshire and Massachusetts dating from 1763 to 1910. The journal of Isaiah Gould of Stoddard, New Hampshire from 1835 to 1858 records seasons and mentions the impact of grasshoppers in 1853. The author also explores papers related to school teacher Brigham Nims, including his teacher certification and attendance booklets. Diaries kept by David B. Nims, a selectman and tax collector who lived in Roxbury and Keene, New Hampshire, are also mentioned.
