Abstract

The article focuses on the terms used for dining in Australia. The author mentions that unlike in the U.S., Australians use the word entrée for the starter course, contrast to what Americans refer to as the main course. She adds that different from the Americans, Australian refer to the main course as "main" instead of entrée. She notes that similar to the U.S., Australians use the same term for dessert.
