Abstract: The article presents a study of semen samples collected from 6 adult male coati. The animals were held in captivity at the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso (UFMT) Zoo, Cuiabá, Brazil. The procedures carried out in the study were all approved by the Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis (IBAMA)/Brazil and UFMT Bioetical Committee.
