Abstract
- This paper presents results of researches conducted to determine the influence of pulverous solid additives at the combustion of coal dust blown into the furnace by means of derivatographic thermal analysis. Methods that gave the best results in solids research, especially in mineralogy but and other areas such as solid fuels research and their gasification processes are: differential thermal analysis, thermal gravimetry and derivative thermal gravimetry .These methods are applied separate or unitary with equipment developed by MOM - Budapest, Mettler, Switzerland etc. The temperature (T), mass change (TG), mass change rate (DTG) and enthalpy change (DTE) of a single test are simultaneously measured and it is realized, a complete characterization in terms thermograph investigated substance.
