Abstract

The article examines the status of inflammatory biomarkers in the population that survived the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. It presents the study conducted after two decades of the industrial disaster due to leakage of methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas from a pesticide plant. It studies the persistence of immunotoxic effects of MIC gas in the survivors of the tragedy.
