Abstract
- The author discusses people's reliance on global positioning systems (GPS). He suggests that people possess an inner GPS, which programs them to participate in routine activities such as driving to work without being consciously aware. The author reveals that his inner GPS has led him to the American Library Association (ALA) conference in the past, but that he will be missing the 2012 ALA conference.
