Abstract
- The article focuses on the gender differentiation in insurance contracts after the judgment in European Court of Justice case Association belge des Consommateurs Test-Achats ASBL and Others. v. Conseil des ministres. It informs that sex discrimination is generally prohibited in EU law. It considers the criteria for gender differentiation in insurance contracts and suggests some measures for the justifiable envision on the insurance law and legislation.
