Abstract

The article reports on a number of sericultural training programmes conducted in India in 2011. The Research Extension Centre held a training programme for farmers in Balghat district. The programme focused on disinfection, disease management and mulberry cultivation. Meanwhile, the Regional Sericultural Research Station initiated a training programme under the Beneficiary Empowerment Programme.
