Abstract
- The article reports on the launch of technology awareness programmes by the Regional Eri Research Station in the Indian silk industry in 2011. One of the programmes discussed the importance of disinfection and maintenance of hygiene to silkworm rearing management. Another programme focused on new technologies of mulberry cultivation. Meanwhile, the Research Extension Centre organized an awareness-cum-training programme.
