Abstract

The article focuses on the use of mystery shoppers at restaurants, bars, hotels and spas to improve customer service. Based on a 2011 American Express and Echo survey, 73% of consumers spent more with companies providing good customer service. It offers tips for customer satisfaction which include creating a team of employees, eliminating policies which are difficult for customers, and training the entire staff. Moreover, using mystery shoppers also improve corporate profits.
