Abstract
- The article discusses emergency planning as part of facility management. It explores the responsibilities of facility staff in protecting the building and occupants in natural or man-made disasters. It describes the importance of good plans for disaster preparedness. Comments from David Bryant of Transwestern in Dallas, Texas, Randy Moore of Hawaii Public Schools, and Jay Leone of Southeast Financial Center in Miami, Florida are presented.
