Prevalence of Respiratory Diseases in Layer Chicken.

The article presents a study on the prevalence of respiratory diseases in chicken in the Namakkal area of Tamil Nadu, India. The researchers collected information regarding breed and strain of chicken, production performance, vaccination schedule, method of rearing and mortality from different farms having respiratory diseases. They found that young birds have higher severity of colibacillosis infection.
