Abstract
- This article discusses the prevalence and treatment of child trachoma, an infectious disease that affects the eye, during the 1930s in Spain. It examines the development of a preventive care model within the community health program in Spain during the interwar period. The authors analyze methods used to control the spread of the disease, including early detection, education, health inspections, and other preventive measures. They also study the effects of the disease in Spain during this time, which led to improvements to sanitation and public health.
