RITUALISATION ET RÉGULATION DES ÉMOTIONS.

The article discusses issues centered around the ritualization of emotions. A comprehensive definition for the term ritual is provided, followed by a discussion on the ritualization of human existence, prior to proceeding to the core of the argument, namely the ritualization and regulation of emotions. Themes discussed include sociology, rituals, and emotions, and reference is made to the prominent figures Michael Maffesoli, Gilbert Durand, and Roger Caillois.
