Physical and Ecological Thresholds for Deposited Sediments in Streams in Agricultural Landscapes.

The article focuses on the development of analytical tools and assessment techniques to estimate environmental thresholds for deposited sediments in agricultural watersheds in the Atlantic Maritimes of Canada. Physical thresholds were developed by assessment of geomorphic metrics which were examined with the use of 25th percentile and y-intercept approaches. It mentions that there was physical thresholds' strong agreement for both analytical approaches for New Brunswick (NB). It states that there was difference in physical thresholds between approaches for Prince Edward Island (PEI).
