Abstract

Abstract: It is a precondition to have a quantitative description of project risk for its management. As a tool, Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation based on matter element model provides a way to calculate risks. This paper introduces the common theory of fuzzy matter element evaluation, puts up general procedures of risk evaluation based on fuzzy matter element evaluation, and establishes model of matter element risk evaluation as well as comprehensive evaluation method based on fuzzy matter element. This paper, through an real project, analyses risks exist in the project of Caiyuanba Bridge in Chongqing from the view of proprietor with fuzzy matter element evaluation applied, the results verifies the superiority and feasibility of the method and its good efficiency in project risk management.
