Abstract

The article reports that credit rating of Brazil has been upgraded by one notch from BBB- to BBB, by the U.S.-based financial services company Standard and Poor's Corp. (S&P). It mentions that S&P in its statement said that the government of President Dilma Rousseff has demonstrated its commitment to meeting fiscal targets and deserve the rise in credit rating.
