Abstract

This article examines the consequences of the fall of the Argentine government of Juan Manuel de Rosas in the mid-19th century on the establishment of government agencies and judicial institutions in Buenos Aires. It explores the formation and implementation of criminal courts in the region, particularly the Court of the Southern Jurisdiction in the town of Dolores. The authors also analyze the process of justice administration during this time period.
