Abstract
- The article discusses the history of Camp Guyasuta in Western Pennsylvania, which serves as the camp for the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) in the Laurel Highlands Council. Prior to its establishment, the camp acted as the burial ground for Native American Chief Guyasuta and the estate of industrialist James O'Hara. Landowners also fought a protracted legal battle with the Pennsylvania Railroad to prevent its extension through the area of the camp.
