Abstract
- The article presents the 2009 report of the section Urban and Regional Sociology of the DGS, the German Society of Sociology. The author presents Renate Ruhne as the spokesperson of the section. Events of the section, including the conference "Besonderheit des Städtischen - Stadtkultur(en) auf dem Prüfstand" held in Göttingen, Germany, on October 9-10, and workshops, including "Rekonstruktion, Dekonstruktion, Konstruktion. Soziologische Analysen des aktuellen Städtebaus", are presented.
