- A conference paper is presented on the Gelmini University Reform law in Italy, passed in 2010 under the leadership of Italian Education minister Mariastella Gelmini. Topics discussed include the restructuring of the department as a unit, the theories of German philosopher Immanuel Kant on universities, and the Istituto Paolo VI research and documentation institute for the study of Pope Paul VI.
