Abstract
- The article presents a study on the use of flavonoids from leaves and stems of scutellaria baicalensis georgi (SSF) in weakening H<subscript>2</subscript>N<subscript>2</subscript> oxidative damage of cortical neurons on rats. The study uses methods such as estimation of malondialdehyde (MDA) assays using thiobarbituric acid method, primary culture on cortical neurons. Results show the role of flavonoids in reducing the injuries on cortical neurons, and its protection against superoxide dismutase (SOD).
