Abstract
- The article reports on the response of Turkish President Abdullah Gul regarding the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. According to Gul, the authoritarian regimes, a single party systems that do not have accountability or transparency, has no place in the Mediterranean. Also offered is the stand of the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood regarding the statement made by Mohammad Riad Shakfa, a member currently living in exile in Turkey.
