The article focuses on the illegal fishing in Egypt. It says that illegal fishing in the area has affected the waters and aquatic resources of the country and threatens the diving and tourism industries as well. According to professor Alaa El-Haweet of the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries (NIOF), regulations for illegal fishing must be enforced while supervision and awareness sessions for fishermen should be implemented to address the problem.
