Abstract

The article discusses the results of a study on the incidence of Mycoplasma ovis in the populations of free-ranging deer in Brazil. The authors explained that Mycoplasma ovis is a hemoplasma that may cause anemia and mortality in deer. They mentioned that the overall positive rate of 58 percent of wild deer for hemoplasma. The results of phylogenetic analysis and sequencing of rRNA gene of wild deer are provided.
