Abstract: The article offers information on waxing equipment for batik including beeswax, microcrystalline wax, and paraffin wax. It states that beeswax has the highest quality for drawing lines and fine details while microcrystalline wax is cheaper but has same qualities of softness and pliability. It notes that paraffin wax is a hard and brittle wax with poor adhesive properties. It also presents other equipment such as wax pot, wax brushes, and cantings.
