Abstract

The article provides an analytical and historical overview of the differences and similarities of jury criminal trials between Canada and the U.S. It examines juries in criminal trials and issues such as jury sequestration, selection and consultant industry and the impact of the media. An overview of the legal system of both countries is provided. It concludes that a jury in a criminal trial in Canada is similar to that in the U.S.
