Abstract
- An interview with Spanish-American entertainer Charo is presented. She describes her first U.S. television appearance on "The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson, and her views on being one of the first people to go by a singular name. Charo shares how she started playing the guitar, and her work with the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). She talks about her relationship with the gay community, and the release of her album "Sexy, Sexy" in February 2011.
