'DISASTER' IS A WORD IN VERY COMMON USE IN AUSTRALIA JUST NOW.

The article presents the author's view on the help for the survivor of the flood in Victoria and Queensland. She notes that the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) library vendors, members and friends have promised to help the survivors of the floods. She cites that the library community in Australia has been affected by the said disaster and ALIA has offered the connection for all sectors which coordinate and host meetings with booksellers, publishers and authors.
