TUNISIA-BEN ALI.

The article reports that Tunisian leader Zine El Abidine Ben Ali's clan members and allies appeared in court because of their attempt to escape from the country due to illegal possession of foreign currency on January 14, 2011. Former Security Chief Ali Seriati notes that Ben Ali did not want to flee and hope to stay to guarantee security in the country which was on a popular revolt.
