Abstract
- The article discusses Estonian composer Mari Vihmand and her opera "Armastuse valem" ("Formula of Love"). The opera is described in detail, covering the vocal aspects as well as characteristic sound effects Vihmand incorporates in her performances. "Armastuse valem" was first performed in 2008 in the Tallinn national opera house, and the article discusses Vihman'd background leading up to that event.
