The article presents the author's views on the possible adverse effects of approving a consitutional amendment that would ban same sex marriage in Minnesota. She asserts that a legislation that hinders the ability of people to protect their families interferes with the basic ability to participate fully in the economy. She also implies that job creation and consumer spending power will be negatively affected once the amendment comes to fruition in the state.
