Abstract: The article reports on the failure of the government to assign agency that will be responsible for the young offender education in Great Britain. It notes that the Department of Labour has introduced a legislation to make councils legal responsible for young offender education in 2009. It mentions that the coalition has put the legislation to hold in April 2011 to allow ministers to develop policies.
