Simplified methods to isolate, culture and purify olfactory ensheating cells.

The article reports on simplified methods for isolating, culturating, purifying olfactory, ensheathing cells. The isolation of olfactory ensheathing cells was conducted using shearing, dispersion processes. A three-step purification procedure was then performed after the primary cultures attained confluence. Cells attached and developed quickly. The three-step purification process allows for the cells to be preserved for extended periods of time in culture.
