Abstract
- The article details a study regarding skin nerve regeneration and burn would healing in Wistar rats after a spinal nerve root incision. This study found that after denervation, no nerve regeneration was observe in the burn wound region. It notes that for this study, collagen III exhibited elastic properties while collagen I played a supporting role. The study concludes that innervations can promote wound healing while denervation improves the quality of wound remodeling.
