Abstract
- The article focuses on a meta-analysis of several randomized clinical trials to investigate the effectiveness of exercise in adults with clinical depression. The results of the meta-analysis suggest that exercise has a short-live effect on depression. There is also little evidence that exercise has long-term beneficial effects in clinically depressed adults.
