Abstract

The article presents information on different works of the French artist Amalric Walter. According to the author, Walter was a leading glass artist during the 1920s, and he has mastered the technique of making self-colouring, polychromatic sculpture. Walter got his basic training in ceramics at a porcelain factory in Paris, France. The author says that since Walter's death in 1959, there has been confusion about his work, especially whether the work "pâte-de-verre" was made by him.
