Abstract
- The article presents a study which examines the impact of short- but not long-term soil carbon dynamic in its aggregate fractions. It assumes that complex molecules are stabilized soil organic carbon (SOC) in the context of chemical decomposition. It also examines the relationship between litter quality and the latter. The study found out that SOC's formation and stabilization are controlled by the quality of litter input and its interaction with the soil matrix.
