Abstract
- The article offers solutions to contraband cellular telephones used by prisoners to commit crimes in prison, discussed at the 2011 Public Safety Technology Conference sponsored by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) on March 10, 2011. The ORION is a handheld detector from Research Electronics International. The Wolfhound Pro from Berkley Varitronics Systems can detect and locate a telephone inside a prison cell. The Intelligent Network Access Controller (iNAC) from Tecore Networks intercepts cellular devices within range.
